Terrifying but Necessary

I’ve never been interested in being publicly, politically active. My day job is hilariously far away from anything that could even be considered political. But this isn’t an ordinary time.

I started this site because I believe in the American people. I believe in all of you who are out there, feeling hopeless and exhausted and disengaged. I believe that there are millions of us out there who are so fucking done with the current political landscape, and with trying to reason with people who would rather stick their heads in the sand, but we have no idea where to start moving forward.

Personally, I’m done engaging. Now it’s time to fight.

Because I believe in you, I want you to know you’re not alone and that there are things us little tiny fish can do in this big ass American corporate ruled pond. Some of them might be big things, and if you can manage that, hell yes. But most things will be about something small. Asking you to put your attention on something important. Asking you to sign a petition. Asking you to put your frustration and fear and rage into action 0.01% more than you already are.

Already active? Already out there kicking ass and taking names? I’d love to hear from you. What do people need to see? Where do we little guys need to spend our time and attention?

Too exhausted and depressed and disengaged to even consider helping? That’s ok. I know exactly how that feels. Maybe you can sign up for email updates and try again when you feel up for it.

There’s no judgement here. There’s no ‘not enough’ contribution. We’re all just trying to muddle through and do our best. If this site can be nothing to you but a source of hope, I’ve already done what I set out to do.
